FMA teacher Ted Lautzenheiser

For over 20 years, Ted Lautzenheiser has been the percussionist with the Faith Praise Team.  As a singer, percussionist and musical collaborator, he can be heard bringing contemporary Christian music to worshipers at Faith each Sunday with the Praise Team as well as the Faith Choir,  Faith Brass and Bells of Faith.  During all his college years at Michigan State University, Ted played in the top band, MSU Wind Ensemble, and was featured as the timpanist on the international premier of Karel Husa's "Concerto for Percussion & Wind Ensemble".  Ted has played in many groups over the years, including The Lansing Symphony, Grand Rapids Playhouse, a Dixieland band and a 50's band.  Outside of music, Ted is a Director of Information Technology and is actively involved on Faith's Tech Team supporting the audio/visual, computer, and infrastructure needs at Faith.  Contact to arrange a lesson with Ted! 

FMA teacher Milinda Nitti

Milinda began teaching in 2006, and holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Flute Performance from the University of Minnesota, where she studied with Immanuel Davis. She also studied in Vienna, Austria for 6 months with Barbara Gisler-Haase and Marie-Celine Labbe. She currently performs with the Linden Hills Chamber Orchestra in Minneapolis, MN. 
Milinda creates lessons around individual student’s interests, needs, and personal goals. She incorporates music history, music listening, music theory, and overall wellness into lessons. She works with students on producing great tone, learning scales, and intonation. Sight-reading and ensemble work is also incorporated (flute duets and trios). FMA Teacher Rachel Hart

Rachel Hart is teaching voice lessons at Faith Music Academy.  She has a degree in music from Northwestern University and serves as Worship Leader at Linwood Covenant Church in Linwood Township.  She is an experienced voice teacher with lots of singing experience.  Contact to arrange a lesson with Rachel!

FMA Teacher Chris Moody

Born and raised near London, England, Chris has been playing guitar since 1988.  His interest in guitar as well as music in general, eventually led him to pursue a degree in music Performance and Composition at Kingston University, in Surrey England, from which he graduated with Honors in 2000.  Following this, Chris taught guitar in the British school system for 5 years. Chris moved to the U.S. in 2005 and has since been active as a guitar instructor and performer. Having diverse skills and eclectic tastes, he can teach genres ranging from popular styles such as rock, blues, folk, R&B, jazz etc. to classical and acoustic. In 2014 Chris became a registered Suzuki Guitar Instructor and is now accepting students as young as four. Please contact to schedule guitar lessons with Chris.

FMA Teacher Teresa Luoma

Teresa Luoma is an instructor with Faith Music Academy teaching violin, viola and cello. She comes to us with a music degree from Bethel University and lots of experience teaching music in classrooms and private lessons. Additionally, Teresa is certificated as an instructor in Alexander Technique and provides one on one instruction in releasing harmful tension in the body. Contact to arrange lessons with Teresa!

FMA Teacher / Coordinator Linda Burk

Linda Burk teaches voice and coordinates our FMA program. She has a MM from University of MN and a BM from Lawrence Conservatory of Music.  A long time music educator in the Osseo school district, Linda also teaches private voice. Her teaching experience includes working with singers at all levels in schools, community college, churches, and arts schools, notably MacPhail Center for Music where she was chair of the Voice Dept.  In addition to teaching Linda has been a professional singer with such groups as Dale Warland Singers, and Westminster and House of Hope Presbyterian Churches. Linda currently serves as Traditional Worship and Music Coordinator and directs the Faith Choir at Faith Lutheran. Please contact to schedule voice lessons with Linda.

FMA Teacher Terry Burk

Terry Burk is teaching piano and music composition at FMA. Terry has experience teaching classroom music in Forest Lake and River Falls schools as well as Breck School.  He has also served as choir director and music education instructor at MacPhail Center for Music, Westminster Presbyterian Church and House of Hope Choir School.  Terry is the music education instructor for Minnesota Youth Symphonies and holds degrees in music education and composition from Lawrence Conservatory of Music. Please contact to schedule lessons with Terry.

FMA Teacher Robin Anderson

Robin Anderson teaches piano with FMA.  She is an experienced teacher and active performer in our area.  She can be heard participating in music ministry at Linwood Covenant Church in Linwood and locally with the Bare Bones Band.  In addition to her work in music, Robin is a fitness instructor with Royalty Fitness in Forest Lake.  Please contact to schedule piano lessons with Robin.

FMA Teacher Bill Munson

Bill Munson is the Worship Leader and Coordinator of Contemporary Worship at Faith Lutheran along with his teaching with FMA. Bill holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in piano performance from the University of Minnesota and a Master of Music degree in piano performance from the University of Colorado. He has remained an active piano teacher at Faith Music Academy since its inception, and has extensive experience in accompanying and performing with choral and music groups. Please contact to schedule piano lessons with Bill.
